A beautiful edge on spiral galaxy in Andromeda. Approximately 10 million light years distant.

Date: 15th November 2007.

Location: Back garden, Chesterfield.

Scope: Skywatcher ED120.

Camera: SXV H9.

Guiding: SXV guidehead with William Optics ZS66.

Filters: Astronomic type II RGB and a CLS for the luminance.

Exposures: 20x200 secs luminance 20x50 secs R, G and B. Clouds prevented longer exposure.

Captured and combined in Maxim. Deconvolution using CCDsharp and completed in Photoshop.
