M27 - M13 Globular Cluster

The Pelican Nebula is a very difficult target for a camera with a small chip because it is so large. This is 2 images stitched together. I had more frames that I tried to mosaic but he gradients and amp glow made it impossible for me to match them up.

Date: 1st July 2006

Scope: Nexstar 8" with fastar. Ha filter. Celestron HD wedge.

Camera: Atik 2HS

5x90 seconds for both parts of the image. Combined in ImagesPlus and stitched in Photoshop.
