The Leo Triplet - M65,66 and NGC3628

This is a couple of images stitched together. It was taken at a Stargazers Lounge forum star party at a very dark sky site in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. The sky was alternately very clear and very cloudy.

Date: 29th April.

Scope: Skywatcher ED80 with Atik 0.5 focal reducer on a Super Polaris mount. Unguided.

M65 and 66 - 10x90 seconds NGC3628 3x90 seconds (cloud eventually put a stop to the session.

Combined in ImagesPlus and finished in Photoshop.
